The restaurant name, Mökbar, is a combination of English and Korean to mean ‘eat bar.’ Mökbar is inspired by the everyday food culture and lifestyle of Korea. In Korea, eating noodles on-the-go as street food is part of everyday life- Chef Esther Choi was inspired to bring that cultural experience to New York City with her spirited ramen shop.
